Graveside service for Gracie "MawMaw" McCullars, 81, will be 3 p.m. today, February 13, 2015, at Oak Bowery Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends today from 1 - 2 p.m. at Gray Brown-Service Funeral Home. Mrs. McCullars died peacefully in the comfort of her home February 11, 2015 with her loving husband by her side. Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Harold Gray McCullars; five daughters, Mary Lee Meredith (Phil), Donna Hay Crow (Barney), Terry Lynn Guthrie (Ray), Tracy Jean Norris and Robin Denise McCullars (Herb); grandchildren, Jerry and Jimmy Keller, Amanda Amos Howard, Matthew and Edward Crow, Misti, Tara, Ashley and Dustin Montalto, Bryan Jones and Daniel Guthrie; many precious great-grandchildren and she will be dearly missed by her feline babies, Jake and Andrew. Mrs. McCullars is preceded in death by her son, James "Jimmy" Amos. Pallbearers will be Matthew Crow, Edward Crow, Ray Guthrie, Bryan Jones, Jerry Keller and Nathan Howard. Mrs. McCullars was born November 17, 1933 and lived a full life and will be greatly missed. The family would like to give a special thanks to Tabitha Butler, Comfort Care Hospice and all the many nurses and doctors that took care of our beloved wife, mother and mawmaw.
