Funeral service for Gussie Mae Elston Harris "Tina" 68, will be on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 11 am at the Sunlight Baptist Church where Rev. Manual Smith IV, pastor and Pastor Clemmy Harris, eulogist. Interment will follow in Sunlight Church Cemetery. Mrs. Harris passed away on October 3, 2017 at Foster McGraw Hospital, Illinois. A wake will be this evening 6-7 pm. Mrs. Harris's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to her service. The family will gather at Wagner family home 1026 Bradford St., Hobson City to travel to the service. Mrs. Harris graduated from 1967 from Calhoun County Training School and retired from the United States Post Office, Chicago in 2004. Survivors include her husband: Steve Harris; children: Stephen J. Harris, Geeana L. Harris; granddaughter: Gem M. Green; sister: Carol A. Wagner, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, John R. and Josie B.
