Funeral service for Gwendola Teague, 102, will be today at 12 p.m. at Gray Brown Service Chapel with the Rev. Bill Snow officiating. Burial will follow at Corinth Church Cemetery in Roanoke. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Mrs. Teague passed away Thursday in Anniston. Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Teague, of Anniston; her sister, Yvonne Huddleston, of Roanoke; grandchildren, Kerry Gurley, Barry Brown, Joey Brown and Sandy Kyner; five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Teague is preceded in death by her husband, Emmitt Teague; parents, Gus and Leona Blake and sisters, Loleta McElroy and Marie McElroy. Pallbearers will be Barry Brown, Devin Brown, Joey Brown, Walter Huddleston, Matthew Huddleston and James Brown. Mrs. Teague was a native of Randolph County and a resident of Calhoun County. She retired from Tape Craft and was a member of Edgewood Congregational Methodist Church and Golden Age Senior Citizen. Online Condolences at www.graybrownservice.com
