Ohatchee - A celebration of life for Hazel Clark Mitchell, 80, who went to her Heavenly Father on April 8, 2013, will be held at 2 p.m. today, April 10, 2013, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Ohatchee with Pastor Doug Matthews officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 - 2 p.m. at the church with services to follow. Survivors include her husband, Pierce Mitchell; daughter, Neresa (David) Dunaway; son, Duane (Sandra) Mitchell; grandchildren, Joshua (Veronica) Dunaway, Jeremiah Dunaway, Adriane Mitchell and Diane (Andrew) Langston; great-grandchildren, Kayla Dunaway, Madison Boling, Jaycee Langston; sister, Nellie Cleveland; brothers, Howard Clark (her twin) and James "Abe" Clark; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Mitchell is preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Oryleen Clark; brothers, Bernard, Thomas and Chuck Clark. Mrs. Mitchell was a loyal and loving wife, mother, grandmother and devoted friend. The family would like to acknowledge Dr. Michael Hannah and his nurses, Sharon and Christine for their compassion and help during her illness.
