Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Huddleston, 91, will be Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Harper, and Rev. Windford Logan officiating with burial to follow at Edgemont Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Huddleston passed on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at her home. Mrs. Huddleston is survived by her daughters, Ann Elliott, Brenda (Donald) Goss, and Judy Alred; nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; seven great great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Huddleston is proceeded in death by her husband, Charles "Buddy" Huddleston; sister, Jeanette Ford; brother, Posey Bennett; grandson, Charles David Elliott; mother, Arizona Bennett; father, Dillick Bennett; granddaughter, Melissa Ann Goss; and great-granddaughter, Teresa Cooper. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Mrs. Huddleston was a loving Mother, Grandmother, and wife. She worked alone side of her husband in the ministry for close to fifty years. We her family would like to thank Kindred Hospice, her nurses, Rheta Cobb, Marlane Bigham, and Sue Dark; her special care giver, Myra Dorman from Heavenly Host of Angels llc.. Family also wish a thank you to Dr. David Chalk for caring for her the last several years. She was a member of Saks Baptist Church for most of her life.
