Funeral service for Herman Hunter 72, will be on Saturday, March 15, 2014, at 1 p.m. at St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church where the Rev. Everett Kelley is pastor, with the Rev. Gaddis officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Mary Church Cemetery. Mr. Hunter passed away on March 7, 2014 at Regional Medical Center. Survivors include Dottie Montgomery; daughter, Tara Bah of Huntsville; stepchildren, Marci (Marcus) Hall, of Lincoln, and Derrick Montgomery of Anniston; grandchildren, Taylor Bah, Miari Hall, MJ Hall, Derrick Montgomery Jr., JaySilus Montgomery; siblings: Rose Tolbert of Anniston, Eunice Wills, Willie Hunter both of Lincoln, Ralph (Otha) Hunter of Rome, Ga., Johnny (Sharon) Hunter of Ohatchee, Douglas (Lois) Hunter of Clovis, N.M., Elbert (Carolyn) Hunter of Midland, Mich., and Joe (Daphne) Hunter of Clanton, Ala.; other relatives and friends.
