Alexandria - Graveside services for Homer Manning Landreth Jr., 78, of Alexandria, will be noon Thursday, January 2, 2014, at Oak Bowery Baptist Cemetery with Dr. Randy Postell officiating. Mr. Landreth went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday at his home. Survivors include his wife, Dot Brown Landreth; three daughters, Amy Taylor (Ronnie), Julie Dame (Rob) and Lori Nabors (James); two stepdaughters, Cindi Stone (Ralph) and Michelle Brown; two step-sons, Scott Brown (Sharon) and Pat Brown (Kelly); three sisters, Jennifer Wells (Larry), Doris Southerland and Mickey Drummey (Richard); ten grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Landreth is preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Margie Landreth; granddaughter, Jessica Taylor; sisters, Lou Williams and Anne Proctor; brother, Tommy Landreth. Mr. Landreth was a native of Etowah County and a resident of Alexandria for the past 11 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Saks.
