Funeral service for Horace Eugene O'Kelley, 92 of Anniston will be 11:30 am, Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with Rev. Daniel Mattox officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am-11:30 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens at 1:00 pm. Mr. O'Kelley passed away November 16, 2017 at Anniston RMC. Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Nellie Mae Lonergan O'Kelley; daughters, Dr. Rebecca Turner (Arlin), Dawn Mattox (Dan); sons, Michael O'Kelley (Genger), Hal O'Kelley (Delane); 10 grandchildren, Britton, Becca, Stephanie, Craig, Deinean, Diedra, Emily, Kevin, Grant and Gray; 14 great-grandchildren and sister, Mary Frances Jones. Mr. O'Kelley is preceded in death by his son, Patrick Lonergan O'Kelley and infant son, Richard Glenn O'Kelley; his parents, Gober and Kate O'Kelley; sister, Wynelle Johnson and brother, Clyde O'Kelley, nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be grandsons and family members. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to West Park Heights Baptist Church. Mr. O'Kelley was a US Navy veteran who served his country during WWII. He loved his Lord, his family, his church, his friends, and especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
