Hugh Wayne Mosley, 66, passed away Monday, January 16, 2017 at his residence, State Route 20 Spur. Mr. Mosley was born October 11, 1950 in Anniston, son of the late J.B. Mosley and Hazel Snider Mosley. He graduated from Wellborn High School in 1969. He was a retired Chief Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy with 25 years service and was a retired teacher. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include a son, Steven Mosley; a sister, Audrey Green (Tim); brothers, Billy Mosley (Ramona) and Millard Mosley; granddaughter, Brandy; a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside service will be conducted today, January 18, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at the Georgia National Cemetery with the Rev. Mark Mosley officiating and the U.S. Navy in charge of military honors.
