Funeral service for Iliak "Kay" Jenkins Mullinax , 86 , of Anniston will be Friday, April 3, 2015, 2 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home. Pastor Bradley Mullinax will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Coldwater Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Mullinax passed away on Tuesday at Regional Medical Center. Survivors include her sons, Andy Mullinax (Deb), Randy Mullinax (Judy); daughters, Frances Coppock (Randy), Patty Parton (David); grandchildren, Valerie Broom (Jonathan), Kimberly Powers (Josh), Ellie Nelson (Josh), Leigh Anne McCareeth (Roger), Dean Coppock (Lisa), Bryan Coppock, Christy Bentley (Patrick), Brad Mullinax (Bethany), Wendy Bumpers (Steven), Paula Parton; a loving Memaw to numerous great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Dean Coppock, Bryan Coppock, Brad Mullinax, Roger McCareeth, Jonathan Broom, Josh Powers, Josh Nelson, Taylor Mullinax, Patrick Bentley and Steven Bumpers. Mrs. Mullinax was preceded in death by her husband, James K Mullinax; grandchildren, Shane Mullinax, Karen Mullinax Dixon; parents, Ernest and Ellie Jenkins. Mrs. Mullinax was retired from the Anniston Star. She was a loving and devoted wife of 65 years. Mrs. Mullinax was an avid Braves fan. The family would like to say a special thanks to Dr. Nelson Cook and Staff, NHC and the 9 th floor nursing staff at Regional Medical Center.
