The funeral service for Mrs. Ima Sue "Bobbie" McCaig Armstrong Vaughan, 86, will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 13, 2017 at K.L. Brown Memory Chapel in Golden Springs with Jim Harrington officiating. Burial will follow at Jacksonville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon until 2 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Mrs. Vaughan passed away on March 7, 2017 at UAB Hospital. Mrs. Vaughan owned and operated Armstrong Florist in Jacksonville for 18 years. She was a member of Greenbrier Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Jack Armstrong and Charles Vaughan; her parents; five sisters, and three brothers. Mrs. Vaughan is survived by her sons, Ricky Armstrong (Becky), of Talladega, Barry Armstrong (Annette), of Chelsea, and Tim Armstrong (Tamera), of Rockwall, Texas; sisters, Jean Nunnelley, of Birmingham and Patsy Brittain, of Ft. Myers, Fla.; grandchildren, Brynn Caldwell (Jody), Kelly Hand (Ryan), Jack Armstrong (Terri Leigh), Blake Armstrong (Taylor), Clint Armstrong (Lynsey), Lisa Armstrong, Tray Armstrong, and Ryan Armstrong; a "GRAND"momma to ten wonderful great-grandchildren; seventeen nieces and nephews, and a longtime friend, Lowell Young of Jacksonville. Pallbearers will be Fred Nunnelley, Jack Armstrong, Blake Armstrong, Clint Armstrong, Tray Armstrong, Ryan Armstrong, Jody Caldwell and Ryan Hand. K.L.
