Funeral service for James Carl "Jimmy" Clark Jr., 71, of Ohatchee, will be 2 p.m. Thursday, April 10, 2014, at Glencoe-Hokes Bluff Chapel. Dr. Rick Reaves will officiate. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. Glencoe Hokes Bluff Funeral Home & Cemetery is in charge of service. Jimmy was a life long resident of Calhoun County. He was a retired truck driver with over 50 years on the road. He was an avid Alabama football fan. He also, enjoyed fishing, Nascar racing and boxing. But most of all he loved cooking the fish he caught for his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Maedell Perry; biological father, James Carl Clark Sr. and grandson, Brandon Clark. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Sue Clark; son, Joe (Pam) Clark; daughters, Carla (Steve) Box and Christie Turner; grandchildren, Mandy Clark (Anthony Cotton) and James Kennedy Sr.; great grandson, Jamie Kennedy Jr.; brother, Robert (Kathleen) Clark; sisters, Debbie Johnson and Denise Clark and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Weathington, Pete Watts, Joe Horton, Gene McGlaughn, James Kennedy, Curtis Pope, Anthony Cotton, Andrew Newton and Homer Thibault. Honorary pallbearers will be Dewyatt Holley, Larry Lott, Joe Little, Harold Byers and the members of the Jack's Breakfast Club of Ohatchee. Special thanks to Dr. Tamara McIntosh.
