Anniston - Memorial services for James Curtis Collins, 55, of Anniston, will be Saturday, March 16, 2013, at 4 p.m. at the Nazarene Church in Saks with Pastor Gary Burns officiating. Survivors included his mother, Ruby Collins Whitlock, of Anniston; three daughters, Amber Curbelo, Laura Collins and Rebecca Johns, of Anniston; two sons, J.C. Collins and Jonathan Johns, of Anniston; ten grandchildren; two sisters, Pat Carroll, of Niceville, Fla., Vanda Holt, of Jacksonville; three brothers, John Edwin Collins, of Anniston, Gene Clyde Collins, of Anniston, Ricky Joe Collins, of Anniston; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Collins was preceded in death by his father, John Stony Collins. Mr. Collins was a native of Anniston and a resident of Navarre, Fla. for five years. He graduated in 1975 from Saks High School. He worked for Super Valu for 28 years in Anniston. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Covenant Hospice, 220 Eglin Parkway NE, Fort Walton Beach, Florida 32547.
