Graveside service for James E. Schroth, 76, of Alexandria will be 2 p.m., Monday, July 7, 2014 at Wellington First Baptist Cemetery with Brother Tommy Miller and Brother Randall Eidson officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 - 2 p.m. at the church prior to the service. Survivors include his wife, Mary Nell Schroth; daughters and their husbands, Sonia and Mike McCartney, Skyla and Jessie Moon, Shyla and Paul Padgett; grandchildren, Lauren, Chipper and Dylan McCartney, Jacy and Justin Brown, Kaylie Bolling, Summer Moon, Brady and Casey Padgett; sister, Shirley Schwerdtfeger; brother, Henry Schroth and his wife Joy. Mr. Schroth is preceded in death by father, James Schroth; mother, Jeanette Schroth Haas and husband Lee; and brother, Richard Schroth. Pallbearers and Honorary Pallbearers will be deacons of Wellington First Baptist. The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice nurses, Kathy Ashley and Vickie Thornton and caregivers, Tangie, Tina, Gina, Brenda and Joyce. Mr. Schroth retired from Alabama Power.
