Newell - Funeral service for James Elbert Houston, 58, will be on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Oak Grove Worship Center with Minister Brenda Montgomery officiating, Pastor Frederick Brown, eulogist. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Church Cemetery. Mr. Houston passed away on April 28, 2017 at UAB Hospital. Mr. Houston's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to his service. Mr. Houston graduated from Randolph County High School and was employed at Koch Foods. Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Houston; his mother, Erris Houston; siblings, Pamela (Mark) Jackson, Jeffery Houston, Rev. Verlon (Sharon) Houston, Fred (Jackie); all in-laws, other relatives and friends. He was perceded in death by his father, James Franklin Houston. Anniston Funeral Service Rev. Jeffrey C.
