Graveside service for James Franklin Bundrum, 92 of Jacksonville, will be held, Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 11:00 am at White's Gap Cemetery. Mr. Bundrum passed away December 5, 2017 at his home. Mr. Bundrum was a of native Summerville GA and was a resident of Jacksonville most of his life. He was a longtime roofer and was of the Baptist faith. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather and brother. He was a wonderful story teller and served as a MP in the US Army during WWII. Mr. Bundrum is preceded in death by parents, Charlie and Ava Mae Bundrum; son and daughter, JJ and Shirley Bundrum; sister, Edna Sanders, Sue Green; brother, William A. Bundrum. Mr. Bundrum is survived by his children, Mary B. McCurry, Jeanette Snider, Jimmy F. Bundrum, David W. Bundrum (Betsy Flowers), Linda F. Benefield, Sarah F. Gaddy; 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Juanita Fair, Margaret Bragg, Jo Couch (John); and a host of nieces and nephews.
