James (Jim) Morrison, 64, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2014, at his home. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Morristown and taught the Carl T. Vance Sunday School Class. He was in the printing business for 38 years and currently with R.R. Donnelley Co., was on the board of Y.E.S. and Quarterback Club of West High School. Mr. Morrison was preceded in death by his father, James Wallace Morrison. He is survived by his wife of 41 ½ years, Sara "Sally" Lacy Morrison; mother, Doris Jean Morrison; sons, Bo (Natasha) Morrison, of Tupelo, Miss. and Will (Melinda) Morrison, of Morristown; grandchildren, Noah, Eli, Hudson and Gray Morrison; sisters, Sarah Dean, of Anniston, Terry Straw, of Alpharetta, Ga. and Laura Lyons of Okla.; brothers, Mike Morrison, of Albertville and Barry Morrison, of Pell City; several nieces, nephews and cousins. A Celebration of Life service will be 1 p.m., Saturday, March 1, 2014, at First Presbyterian Church of Morristown with Dr. Gary Kelly officiating and receiving of friends to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Presbyterian Church of Morristown building fund, 600 W. Main St., Morristown, TN 37814.
