James "Jimmy" Milford Pentecost, 73, died Wednesday, February 04, 2015 at his residence. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2015, at Heflin Baptist Church with the Rev. Philip Morris and Dr. Wayne Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in Heflin Memorial Garden. Visitation will be Saturday, February 7, 2015 from 12-1 p.m. at Heflin Baptist Church. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include wife, Sue Holley Pentecost, Heflin, Ala.; daughter, Marla (Gregg) Morris, Sharpsburg, Ga.; son, Michael (Robin) Pentecost, Heflin, Ala.; sister, Carolyn Boozer, Moody, Ala.; brother, Gerald Pentecost (Diane), Ohatchee, Ala.; grandchildren, Simon Propst, John Propst, Naomi Claire Propst, and Benjamin Pentecost, Maggie Propst, Micah Pentecost, Isaac Pentecost, Jacob Pentecost; three step-grandchildren; two step-great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be, Ken Boozer, Steve Boozer, Tommy Pentecost Harold Barker, Marty Holley, Jackie Bragg, Jimmy McDill and Ernest Charles. Mr. Pentecost was a native of Calhoun County and a resident of Cleburne County for most of his life. He was the Co-Owner of Crestview Plumbing and Heating, Inc. in Anniston. He attended Heflin Baptist Church. Jimmy was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, and brother.
