A memorial service for James Madison Foshee III, 71, will be held Thursday, March 31, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Munford Baptist Church with the Rev. Branville Gauldin officiating. The family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to the service. Mr. Foshee died Sunday, March 27, 2015 at his residence. He is survived by three daughters, Monica Key and her husband, Tony, of Jacksonville, Schena Lindley and her husband Brian, of Oxford and Lisa Smith and her husband, Jon, of Munford; a sister, Dorothy Hubbard and her husband, Wayne, of Munford; a brother, Eddy Foshee and his wife Jackie, of Prosperity, S.C.; five grandchildren, Amber Easterwood, Sky Lindley, Savannah Key, Mason Smith and Tanner Smith; two great-grandchildren, Alexiya Wright and Anthony Wright; four nieces and one nephew. Mr. Foshee attended Munford Baptist Church and served his country in the U. S. Army from 1962-1965 during the Vietnam War. He was a loving father and man of God. He was preceded in death by his parents, James M. Jr. and Willie Jo Foshee. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Munford Baptist Church, 326 1st Avenue, N., Munford, AL 36268.
