A Memorial service for Mr. James Will Ingram Sr., 77, formerly of Phoenix City, will be at noon on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at K.L. Brown Memory Chapel in Golden Springs with the Reverend Keith Dempsey officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Ingram passed away on January 9, 2016 at Noland Hospital. Mr. Ingram attended the Georgia Institute of Technology and Southern Technical College where he played basketball. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Ingram was an adventurist. He loved riding his motorcycle, camping, canoeing, hiking, and travelling around the world. He adored his children and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Delma and Willie Coggins Ingram; a brother, Roger Ingram. Mr. Ingram is survived by his daughters, DeAnne Ingram Bryant and her husband, Skeet, of Ohatchee and Malinda Holt and her husband, Jeff, of Coldwater; a son, Jimmy Ingram and his wife, Brooke, of Wellborn; and grandchildren, Peri Kathryn Bryant, Taylor Rae Burnham, and Tanner James Ingram. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the , 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 (www.stjude.org).
