Funeral service for Jan Lovvorn McCain, 59, of Carrolton, Ga., was held on Sunday, March 15, 2015, at 2 p.m. from Benefield Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jan Stewart Tolbert officiating. Burial was at Pine Hill Church of Christ. The family received friends at the funeral home from 4-7 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2015. Ms. McCain passed away Friday, March 13, 2015, at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton. Survivors include one daughter, Misty McCain Pollard, of Carrollton; one son, Justin Michael McCain (wife, Fran), of Flowery Branch, Ga.; three grandchildren, Selleck McCain, Warner McCain, and Sara Catherine Pollard; her mother, Ima Dean Lovvorn, of Newell; three sisters, Lynn Smith, of Newell, Pamela Sasakado, of Santa Clara, Calif., and Susan Lovvorn Davis, of Auburn; special friend, Donald Baber, of Heflin. Pallbearers will be Richard Craft, Bobby Cofield, Billy Edwards, Jody Lee Davis II, Ferrell Cofield, Brad Pollard, Jason Simpson and Steve Spradlin. A Randolph County native, Ms. McCain was born on November 5, 1955, the daughter of Wiley Eugene and Ima Dean Cofield Lovvorn. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and worked as a systems analyst for Southwire. Ms. McCain was preceded in death by her father; one brother, Ronald Lovvorn; one niece, Jennifer Davis.
