Jane E. Ivey, 67, died Monday, June 5, 2017 at her residence. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 9, 2017, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Benefield officiating. Burial will follow in Heflin City Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, June 8, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include daughter, Sonya (Philip) Conklin, of Oxford; son, Carlos E. (Nicol) Ivey, of Heflin; sisters, Judy (Ben Ed) Padgett, of Cartersville, Ga., Sue (Glenn) Nix, of Acworth, Ga., Janice Turner, of Acworth, Ga.; brothers, Eddie Smith, of Dallas, Ga., Dean Smith, of Dallas, Ga.; brother-in-law, Paul Ivey, of Heflin; grandchildren, Jasmine Amira Star Ivey, Anthony Lee Conklin, Jin Alexander Cloud Ivey, Bella Hope Conklin. Pallbearers will be Michael Turner, Eugene Smith, Rob Morris Jeff Garchow, Tim Padgett, Bobby Cannon and Lex Ivey. Mrs. Ivey was a lifelong resident of Cleburne County. She worked at J.H. Dry Cleaners and retired from Sewells Manufacturing in Heflin. Jane was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Saks. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos L.
