Funeral service for Mrs. Janie Lucille Reaves, 89, will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 11, 2015, at K.L. Brown Memory Chapel in Golden Springs with the Reverend Don Hamilton officiating. Entombment will follow at Forestlawn Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on today November 10, 2015, at the funeral home. Mrs. Reaves passed away on November 8, 2015 at UAB Hospital. Mrs. Reaves was a resident of Anniston for most of her life. She was a member of Fairview Heights Northside Baptist Church. Mrs. Reaves is preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Reaves; her parents, Walter and Velma Bonds; a sister, Sarah Owens; a brother, Rick Bonds. She is survived by her sons, Jim Reaves and his wife, Sherron, of Oxford and Stanley Reaves and his wife, Susan, of Piedmont; grandchildren, Angela Reaves, of Oxford and Chris Reaves, of Alexandria; a brother, Earl Bonds, of Ohatchee; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Roger Turner, Jeffrey Bonds, Tommy Bonds, Timmy Bonds, Chris Reaves and David Spoon.
