Jason Scott Alward, aka "Booty", "Biggen", 38, passed away at UAB Hospital on October 2, 2015. He is preceded in death by his brother, Brian Wade Alward; grandparents, Helen & Jim Voss and Clara & Lloyd Alward. He was loved by many. He was a loving husband, father, brother, son, friend. He loved spending time with the lights of his life, his 2 children. He worked at Frito Lay as a RSA for 2 years. Prior to that he worked at Bama Budweiser for 12 years. Funeral service will be held Thursday October 8, at 2 p.m. at Blue Eye Baptist Church. Interment will be at St. Clair Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m. at the Church. He is survived by his wife of almost 14 years, Ashley Alward; two children, Brian Gauge Alward, eight years old and Rosalie Irene Alward, three years old; parents, Bobby and Brenda Alward; brothers, Jamie (Carlye) Alward and Josh Alward; uncles, Michael Alward, Gene (Marsha) Alward, Pat (Bitsy) Alward, Wayne (Teresa) Voss; nephews, James Woodside, Christian alward, Gabriel Alward, Jacob Overton; several cousins; mother-in-law, Melissa (John) Jennings; father-in-law, Stanley (Gwen) Hughston; brother-in-law, Adam Hughston. Pallbearers will be Anthony Alward, Brett Alward, Todd Alward, Lane Clevelend, Brian Howard, Adam Hughston, John Jennings and Jimbo Williams.
