Service for Jennie Renea Maddox, 40, will be Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at 4 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony McCain officiating. Burial will follow at Carmel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2:00 -4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Jennie passed away Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Gadsden Regional Medical Center. She is survived by her son, Christopher Hardin (Morgan); a daughter, Brittney Hardin; two grandchildren, Lane Smith and Vladimir Hardin; her mother, Bertha Blythe Maddox and a brother, Chris Maddox. Pallbearers will be Gary Hardin, Kenny Vaugh, Jeremy Bass, Lori Nicholson, Phillip Williams and Wade Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Prater, Ryan Paris, Russell Vanpuym, C.J. Salcido, Justin Daniels and Michael Craft. Jennie was a lifelong resident of Piedmont and a member of Arrington Chapel Congregational Methodist Church. She enjoyed crafts, fishing and was an avid Auburn fan. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and daughter and was preceded in death by her father, Rev.
