Graveside service for Jerry Donald Thrash, 71, will be Wednesday, December 30, 2015, 2 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church North Cemetery. The Rev. Duke Garnett will be officiating. Mr. Thrash passed away on December 26, 2015 at his residence. Survivors include his wife, Jean Thrash of Oxford; son, Gary Thrash (Teresa), of Oxford; daughter, Rhonda Landers (Scott), of Oxford; grandchildren, Whitney Jackson (Jeremy), of Anniston, Kristyn Fields, of Oxford; great-grandchild, Tavin Dash Jackson, of Oxford; brothers, Albert Thrash, of Ohio, Doyle Thrash, of Weaver, John Thrash, of Pleasant Valley. Pallbearers will be Scott Landers, Johnny Adams, Jeremy Jackson, Brian Mosley, Joseph Blackman and Jason Thrash. Mr. Thrash was a resident of Oxford. He was a Vietnam Veteran and severed our country with pride as an E5 Sargent with the US Army.
