The life of Jerry Sparks started in Oxford, Alabama. He was a brother to four sisters and one brother. At an early age it was evident that he was no ordinary man. Jerry was a go getter who never settled for average and was always striving to achieve the best. He met the love of his life, Roberta Burt, and they began their love story on October 7, 1956. They had two sons of their own, Michael and Jimmy. As the boys grew, Jerry became a father to many of his sons' friends. Jerry never met a stranger and treated everyone as if they were family. His love for his family was evident in every smile, felt in every hug, and expressed in every "love you more". Aside from his family, he loved the city of Oxford, fishing, traveling, hunting, and most of all, Disney World. His life was an example to many that showed everyone who knew him what selfless love looked like. Jerry Sparks was a man who did not waste his life, but lived every moment to its fullest. Jerry C.
