Funeral service for Jesse L. Kelley, 78, will be 1 p.m, Monday, October 27, 2014, at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr. Kelley passed away October 24, 2014 at his residence. Survivors include wife, Shirley F. Kelley; daughter, Connie Hammonds (Eugene); sons, Marlon Kelley (Connie), Donald Williams (Monnette), Steve Williams (Myra), Gene Williams (Allison) and Larry Williams; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; sister, Katherine Beal; brother, Henry Kelley and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Kelley is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and four brothers. Pallbearers will be Linn Bridges, Ray Brown, Jerry White, Wendell Ledbetter, Nathan Durham, Roger Webb, Charlie Goode and Todd Craven. Honorary Pallbearers will be Doris Bridges, Jo Brown, Barbara White, Marie Ledbetter, Fran Durham, Pat Webb, Elaine Goode and Marsha Shears. The family gives their love and thanks to Alacare Hospice and a special thanks to Elaine, Cassie, Renee, Dr. Vance Moore and Dr. John Nwogu. Jesse was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
