Funeral service for Jimmy E. Ackles 69, will be on Saturday, June 20, 2015, at 1 p.m. at the Russell H. Williams Memorial Chapel with Prophetess Dr. Vera D. Thurman officiating. Interment with Military honors will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Mr. Ackles passed away on June 14, 2015. He served in the United States Army in the Vietnam War. Survivors include his wife, Lucille Deramus Ackles, of Hobson City; children, Alecea Deramus, Celeste Bynum both, of Hobson City, Annethra Gay, Toya (Kimberly) Gay, all of Anniston, Cassandra Hayes, Vivian Prothro, both of Heflin; grandchildren, great-grandchildren; siblings, Rosa (Andrew) Brown, Bertha Mae Williams, Elsie Almon and Willie Lee Ackles; in-laws and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, William McKinley Ackles and Annie Mae Allen Ackles; in-laws, Sam Williams, Pete Almon and Mary Ackles. Anniston Funeral Service Rev. Jeffrey C.
