Graveside service for Joan Butler Diggs, 61, of Weaver will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Upper Cane Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 12-1 p.m. at Gray Brown Service Mortuary. Mrs. Diggs passed away March 1, 2015 in Anniston. Survivors include her daughter, Belinda Wadford (Timothy), of Saks, Ala.; her sisters, Linda Machosek (John), Joyce Natividad, Janie Giorgi and Debbie Brinson (Skip Couch), all from Charleston, S.C.; her brothers, Allen Natividad (Amy), of Dorr Michigan, Kirk Natividad, of Charleston, S.C.; her grandchildren, Bryan, Whitney & T.J. Wadford and James & Kaleigh Thompson; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Diggs is preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Geneva Natividad; husband, James Butler Jr.; her daughter, Geneva Thompson. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Mrs. Diggs was a native of Charleston, S.C. and a resident of Calhoun County. She was a nurse at Golden Living for 17 years.
