John E. Pintar, 87, passed away on Monday January 11, 2016 at Col. Robert L. Howard Veterans Home in Pell City, AL. Survivors include his sons, John N. Pintar, George Dietz and Bob Pintar; daughters, Phyllis Buddenberg and Jeanne Hanner; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mr. Pintar is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Pintar; son, Frank Pintar. Mr. Pintar was a native of Pittsburgh, Pa. and of Oxford for the past 60 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Pintar retired from Cooper Automation Machinery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
