Funeral service for Mr. John Frank Rollins Sr., 89, will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home and Crematory. The Rev. C.O. Grinstead and the Rev. Wayne Eden will be officiating. Burial will follow at Dogwood Trails Cemetery. The family will receive friends on this evening from 6 until 8 at the funeral home. Mr. Rollins passed away on August 28, 2015. He is survived by his three sons, Joy Rollins (Donna), Doug Rollins (Christine), Michael Rollins (Tina), all from Oxford; daughters, Vickie Morris (Clayton), of Codlea, Romania and Cathie Eden (Tommy) of Oxford; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Betty Knight, of Anniston; brothers, Lewis Rollins, of Heflin and Henry Rollins, of Huntsville. Mr. Rollins was a U.S. Navy World War II veteran, alumni of Tennessee Temple University, and retired owner of Rollins Indoor Comfort Systems. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry Wesley and Rosa Lee Rollins; wife, Patricia Hopkins Rollins; sister, Margaret Bain; brothers, Ira and Neal Rollins; grandson, Joshua Rollins.
