Funeral service for John L. Billingsley "Lil John" 69, will be on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Roseline Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael Billingsley officiating. Interment will follow in Simmons Cemetery. Mr. Billingsley passed away on February 18, 2015 at Clay County Hospital. Mr. Billingsley's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to his services. Mr. Billingsley was a Deacon at Rosline Baptist Church, President of the Choir, Boyscout Leader, Coach of Baseball and Softball. Survivors include his wife, Leola Billingsley; children, Anthony (Rena) Billingsley, of Jackson Gap, Michael (Cynthia) Billingsley, of Goodwater, Jennifer (Victor) Jackson, of Lineville, Spencer (Phallon) Billingsley, of Ashland, Ledra Billingsley, of Ashland; 13 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; siblings, Pauline Billingsley, Ethel Mae Dunn, Luella Billingsley, Odessa Palmer, Mary Ann (David) Wilson, Fletcher Jr. (Phyllis) Billingsley, David Simmons; step siblings, Annette (Phil) Smith, Joe Simmons, Verona Smmons other relatives and friends.
