John Lawrence (Larry) Puckett, 68, previously from Anniston, died September 6, 2016. He retired from the U.S. Army after 20 years of service and also from Honeywell Aerospace after 21 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Ann Wesson Puckett; two daughters, Lori Grochala and AnneJ Maxon; son, Jason (Erin) Freeman; two brothers; one sister; 12 grandchildren. Mr. Puckett was preceded in death by his parents, Atlee and Margaret Puckett, and one son, John Lawrence Puckett Jr. Services were held Monday, September 12, 2016, at Highland Heights Presbyterian Church with full military honors.
