Funeral service for Miss Johnnie D. Crosson, 85, will be, today, January 17, 2017, 7 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home. The Rev. Carl Dishman will be officiating. The family will receive friends on today from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. The entombment will follow at Forestlawn Gardens and Mausoleum on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Miss Crosson passed away on Sunday at her residence. Survivors include her sisters; Myra Williams, Leola Badgett (Bill); brother, Garvis Crosson (Glenda), nieces; Connie Alldredge (Gary), Phyllis Brimer (Larry); nephews, Michael Crosson, Keith Badgett (Beth), Barry Badgett (Melinda); several great-nieces and great-nephews. Miss. Crosson was a resident of Oxford. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church for 62 years and also a member of the Ruth Sunday School Class. She was retired from Anniston Sports Wear with 43 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Killis and Alma Crosson; brother, K.V. Crosson; sister-in-law, Geraldine Crosson, and a niece, Kim Smith. A special thank your to the staff of Alacare Hospice. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a church or charity or your choice.
