Funeral service for Johnny Leon Jenkins, 70, will be on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Issac Chappelle Jr. officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery. Mr. Jenkins passed away on April 3, 2016 at Regional Medical Center. Mr. Jenkins's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to his service. Mr. Jenkins was a Vietnam Veteran. He retired from Fabarc Steel Supply, Inc. Survivors include his wife, Mae Francis Jenkins; children, Johnnie Gail, Jermaine, Michelle Jenkins, Rose (Norris) Sistrunk, Rita (Otis) Underwood Dark and Dorothy Kirksey; sisters: Lurene Towns and Janet (Steve) Hawkins; mother-in-law, Annie Jo Calhoun; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; in-laws; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Lillie Mae Jenkins; siblings, Armiller Jenkins, Martha Rickey and Lonnie (Susie) Jenkins; father-in-law, James Calhoun; brother- in-law, Harry Calhoun.
