Jonathan Silas Wade, 2, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2014, at Children's Hospital in Birmingham. Jonathan was a special child that touched the lives of many. His smile brought many comfort in times of pain, joy in times of sadness and love in times of sorrow. His survivors include his daddy and momma, Daniel "Alvin" and Tina Smith Wade; two sisters, Hannah Locy and Allyson Wade; his big brother Austin Wade; grandparents, Daniel and Diana Wade, Tommy and Demeris Smith, Steve and Brenda Powell; several aunts and uncles, Justin and Wendy Braden, Bradley and Sheena Vann, Jason and Tonya Bishop, David and Nancy Smith, Darren and Elia Smith, Eddie Parris Jr., Brooke, Autumn and Selena Smith and many cousins that were so special to him. Visitation for Jonathan will be Thursday, January 23, 2014, from 4 until 8 p.m. in The Event Center at Miller Funeral Home in Oxford. The Funeral will be Friday, January 24, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home with graveside to follow at Hopeful Baptist Church in Munford. Jonathan is dearly loved and will forever remain in our hearts. The family would like to thank everyone for their kindness and love that has been shown for Jonathan and his family.
