Joseph Anderson Bagley, was born February 9, 1925 in Anniston, Ala. and passed away on August 3, 2014. He is preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Marilyn Holden Bagley; parents, Thomas T. and Willie Killebrew Bagley; brothers, Paul D., Homer T. and Earl M. Bagley; sister, Emmie Slayton. Joe is survived by his daughters, MaryJo B. Schulte (Dan), of Grosse Pt., Mich. and Pamela S. Webb (Mike), of Tucker, Ga. and grandchildren, Patrick and Caroline Schulte and Zachary and Liam Webb. Joe was a graduate of Anniston High School, Georgia Military College and Auburn University. He served in the Army Signal Corps in England, France, Belgium and Germany during World War II. Joe and his brother Homer were manufacturer agents for Bagley & Associates from 1967-1983. After his brother retired, the business became Bagley-Summers until they sold the business in 2002 when Joe retired. Joe was a longtime member of Brentwood Baptist Church where Dr. Michael L. Glenn will conduct a service to celebrate his life on Wednesday, August 6, at 1 p.m. in Baskin Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on tonight August 5, one hour prior to the service, all at the church. Interment to follow funeral service at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
