Joseph J. Quirello, 30, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2015, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham. Joe was originally from Summerfield, Fla. and relocated to the Oxford area in 2006. He was employed at Southern Builders Door and Hardware in Anniston and was a member of Word Alive International Outreach. He is survived by his wife, Ashley Hohenbrink Quirello; mother, Debra Dye, of Summerfield, Fla.; father, Michael Quirello, of Hialeah, Fla.; siblings, Angela Quirello, Anthony Quirello and Alura Dye, all of Summerfield, Fla.; nieces and nephews, Tony, Isabel, Gabriella, Chance, Olivia, Cash, Nate and Karoline; mother-in-law, Annette Hohenbrink; father-in-law, John Hohenbrink and his wife, Patricia; brothers-in-law, Matt Hohenbrink, Chris Bradberry, Eric Bradberry; sister-in-law, Brittany Birchfield, of Anniston; grandmother, Jeanne Quirello of Hialeah, Fla.; grandmother, Etheleen Richards; uncle, Phil Richards, of Oxford; grandparents, Larry and Catherine Hohenbrink, of Genoa, Ohio; and his fur babies, Michio and Mia. Trent Phillips, Tony Quirello, Matt Hohenbrink, Nick Krebs, Craig Mattox and Chris Gaskin will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be at Miller Funeral Home on today, September 20, 2015, from 3 until 5 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Word Alive International Outreach on Monday, September 21, 2015, at 2 p.m. He will lie in state an hour prior to the service on Monday. Pastor Kent Mattox will officiate the service. Following the funeral, Joe will be laid to rest at Forestlawn Memorial Gardens. Joe had a heart of gold and was willing to help anyone he could. He loved his family and his friends and enjoyed living life.
