Service for Joseph K. Busbee, 73, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 12, 2016, at the Zion Hill Baptist Church with Pastor John H. Oliver officiating. Burial will follow in White Plains Cemetery. Viewing will be today from 1-6 p.m., with a wake commencing from 6-8 at the chapel. Goodson Funeral Home is directing. Survivors include, a loving and devoted wife, Dorothy R. Busbee; three daughters, Calvester Robinson, of San Antonio, Texas, Sylvia (Brent) Petersen, of Harvest, and Georgina (Dwayne) Beal of Birmingham; one son, John L. Robinson Jr., of Orlando, Fla.; sisters and brothers, Julia (James) Gilbert, of Cleveland, Ohio, Patricia (James) Lee of Choccolocco, Carolyn (David) Millner of Cleveland, Ohio, Gwendolyn (Ronald) Winsett, of Dearmanville, Melvin Busby, Billy Busby, Martin "Bo" Jordan, Anthony Busby, all of Choccolocco, and Gloria (Roy) Goodson, of Jacksonville; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; 12 nephews and nieces, and a host of relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, mother and grandparents, McCalvin and Bertha Whatley, Richard and Julia Busby and two nieces, Virginia Tucker and Ashley Mabery. Goodson Funeral Home, Inc.
