A graveside service for Mr. Joseph S. South, 73, will be at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 19, 2015, at Forestlawn Gardens with Dr. Roland P. Brown and Dr. Randy Postell officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. - 2 p.m. at K.L. Brown Memory Chapel in Golden Springs. Mr. South passed away on April 16, 2015. Mr. South was a member of the First Baptist Church of Saks and was also a member of the Disciplers Sunday School Class. He had retired from the Anniston Army Depot. Following his retirement, he worked at WalMart for nine years. Mr. South is preceded in death by his parents, William D. South and Willie Mae Bonds South. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Linda Ogle South; a daughter, Jodi Denise South; a brother, Ellis South and his wife, Carolyn and several nieces and nephews.
