Funeral service for Jr. Carr, 71, will be 2 p.m. today at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with the Rev. Canaan Elkins officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends today from 1 - 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Carr passed away on Thursday at his residence. Survivors include his wife, Pauline Carr; daughter, Tina Fowler (Gene); sons, Tony Carr (Robin) and Jamie Carr (fiancé, Peggy); five grandchildren; 18 great- grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Carr is preceded in death by his parents, one brother and three sisters. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Mr. Carr was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County. He retired from the Anniston Army Depot. Mr. Carr was a member of the Cheaha Harley Davidson Motorcycle Club. He was Baptist by faith.
