Funeral service for Judith "Judi" McCombs, 63, will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 17, at Bethel United Methodist Church (1250 Peeks Hill Rd, Ohatchee) with Dr. Rick Reaves and the Rev. Richard Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel United Methodist Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 5-7 p.m. at Gray Brown Service Mortuary. Ms. McCombs passed away Wednesday at RMC. Survivors include her sons, Brian Clements (Tara) and Chad Clements (Dionne); daughter, Melissa Howlett (Jarod); grandchildren, Shana Sims, Hunter Clements, Shey Clements, Sydney Clements, Sheridan Clements, McKenna Lay and Connor, Colin and Clayton Howlett; brothers and sisters, Charlotte Parris (Wayne) Carlton McCombs (Donna), Rhetta Anderson; sister-in-law, Marion McCombs; numerous nieces and nephews. Ms. McCombs is preceded in death by her parents A.D. and Lillian McCombs; brothers, Larry and Rodney McCombs. Judi was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County. She was a born-again Christian who loved her family. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. She also attended Bethel United Methodist Church, where her father pastored for many years.
