Funeral service for Ms. Judy Dorris, 58, will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2015, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home and Crematory with Buddy Nelson officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. on the same day. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. Ms. Dorris passed away on January 9, 2015 at her home. She is survived by her son, Jim Newsome (Kristie); grandchildren, Kinsley and Knox Newsome; father, Author Murray; brother, Steve Murray (Wendi); sister, Connie Tsimpides and nieces and nephews, George and Stephanie Tsimpides and Jansen and Elaina Murray. She is preceded in death by her mother, Deloris Murray and her husband, Randy Dorris. Ms. Dorris loved college football, especially the Auburn Tigers. She attended every home game and even attended the National Championship game in 2010 where she got to see the Tigers bring home a National Championship. She loved her grandchildren and they loved their "JuJu'.
