Funeral service for Kathalyne Sears Birdsong 72, will be on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at 2 pm at the Shady Gove Baptist Church where Rev. Clarence Henderson, pastor, Rev, Frederick Muse, officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery. She passed away on December 13, 2017 at Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Birdsong's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to her service. Mrs. Birdsong graduated from Ophelia S. Hill School, Alabama A&M University, and Jacksonville State University. She was a retired teacher of Anniston High School. Survivors include her daughter: Katrina (Frederick) Muse; God daughters: Krystal (Tony) White, Kenya Montgomery; grandchildren: Kianna Muse, Joshua Muse; siblings: Rhonda Kirkland, Annie (Larry) Foster, Alma Ervin, Johnny (Sheila) Sears; step siblings: Robert Williams, George (Vickie) Williams, Jr., Lawrence (Angela) Williams, Barbara (Rev. Grady) Zellars, Loama Jones, Sharon Williams, Patricia Kelley, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Catherine Williams, husband, James E.
