Service for Kathy Green "Nana" Boles, 59, of Piedmont will be Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home with her husband, Kenneth Boles, the Rev. Michael Stafford and the Rev. Blaine Tidwell officiating. Burial will follow at Goshen Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Kathy passed away Monday, September 11, 2017 at Grandview Medical Center. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Boles; Children, Brian Boles (Amanda), Brett Boles, special son, Brett "Chops" Westbrook; grandchildren, Bri Boles, Bowden Boles, Emma Boles and Luke Boles; sister, Louise Green; several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Brian Boles, Brett Boles, Chops Westbrook, John Kelsey, Marcus Woods, Barry Davis, Richard McCain, Ben Kiser, and Lee Browder. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dustin Mobley, Brandon Bell, Josh Ray, and Danny Ray Smith. Kathy was of the Baptist faith and was an employee of Dollar General Market. She enjoyed spending time with her husband, working, woodworking and playing with her grand kids. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Erika Dawn Boles and parents, Rev. Lewis and Edna Green. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Moshat Baptist Church, 4365 County Road 83, Centre, AL, 35960, or to the Piedmont Rescue Squad, PO Box 333, Piedmont, AL, 36272.
