Funeral service for Kenneth "Biggun" Levens, 73, will be 2 p.m., Saturday, November 19, 2016, at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with the Rev. Johnny Fry and the Rev. Wayne Lackey officiating. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12 - 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Levens passed away on Tuesday at Noland Hospital. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Nellie Levens; three daughters, MaryKatherine Levens, Christina Levens and Donna Levens; two sons, Anthony Levens (Janet) and Jeffrey Levens; three granddaughters, Kayla Levens, Jesse Renee Levens and Ashley Levens; two sisters, Gaynell Coldiron and Barbara Helen Morrison (Junior). Mr. Levens is preceded in death by his brothers, Frank Levens, William Lomeral Levens and Billy Levens; parents, Audrey Lee and Isa Dora Levens. Pallbearers will be Daniel Morrison, Tracy Morrison, Bennie Dale Morrison, Jack Morrison, Jack Bryant, Larry Elam and John Clark. Honorary pallbearer will be Donald Levens. Mr. Levens was a native of Calhoun County and a member of Fairview Baptist Church. He was the owner and operator of Levens Grocery for 25 years.
