Memorial service for Pastor Kenneth Wesley Jones, 59, of Eastaboga, Ala. will be Wednesday, January 28, 2015, 3 p.m. at Fellowship Church in Oxford. Pastor Wes Jones, the Rev. Marty Phillips and the Rev. Duke Brown will be officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4-5 p.m. following the service in the sanctuary. Pastor Jones passed away Monday at Princeton Hospital. Survivors include his wife, Susan Jones; son, Wes Jones; his wife, Amanda; daughter, Kasi Brown and her husband Duke; grandchildren, Kayleigh Jones, Kensley Jones, Talon Brown, Sophia Brown; sister, Pam Phillips (Marty); brothers, David Jones (Lynn), Danny Jones (Melinda) and Scotty Jones (Elizabeth); several nieces and nephews. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jeremy Harrison, Nick Phillips, Justin Jones, Josh Caldwell, Micah Jones and Tucker Jones. Pastor Jones was Christian, husband, father, grandfather and friend. Ken Jones loved life to its fullest. He found humor in everything and enjoyed serving others with a smile. His stories told of his love for family, ministry and friends. His most famous quotes were "I am blessed and highly favored of the Lord" and "It's all about Jesus. In place of flowers and plants the family ask that donations be made to Fellowship Church, Kenny would rather people invest in the increase in God's kingdom.
