Funeral service for Mr. Kermit Marvin Henry, 70, of Alexandria will be 12 p.m. Saturday, August 9, 2014, at the 17th Street Baptist Church in Anniston. Public viewing will be held today between the hours of 1-7 p.m. at the Goodson Funeral Home Chapel. Survivors include son, Jonathan Henry, of Chicago, Ill.; three siblings, one brother, Rev. Ulysses C. Henry, of Milwakee, Wis.; two sisters, Ms. Theresa Mae Henry, of Alexandria, and Ms. Jessie M. Henry-Darling, of McKinney, Texas; grandson, Kyan Darnell Henry, of Chicago, IL.; first cousin, Helen Lindsey,of Chicago, IL.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and family. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. John Delmon Henry and Mrs. Clara Rettig Henry, of Anadarko, Texas and Chicago, Ill.; his father, Kermit Madero Henry and mother, Mollie Richardson Henry; one brother, Warnell Henry; two sisters, Winona Jackson and Melverta Jordan.
