Mr. Larry K. Tillison, 68, passed away July 17, 2017 at Gadsden Regional Medical Center. Funeral service will be today, July 19, 2017, at 3 p.m. at the chapel of K.L. Brown Funeral Home. Reverend Gary Brown will officiate and burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. His family will receive friends today from 2 until service time at the funeral home. Mr. Tillison was a native and life long resident of Jacksonville. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and retired from Anniston Army Depot. Larry was an avid car enthusiasts, a member of Bama Street Rods, and past Master of Hiram Lodge #42. Larry is survived by his wife of 49 years, Donna Tillison; children, Rodney Tillison (Noel) and Beverly Barnwell (Michael); grandchildren, Miles, Daniel, Macy, Nathan, Ireland and Flynn; brothers, Wilmer Tillison and Billy Tillison; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Rodney, Miles, Daniel, Nathan, Michael, Flynn, Macy and Ireland. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to woundedwarriorproject.org.
